Welcome to Nigel. This is a brief overview of how to use this interface for Nigel.
This is not intended to teach you how to play Scrabble. If you wish to learn that,
please visit <http://www.scrabblepages.com/scrabble/rules/>. Following are a few
tips for navigating the Nigel interface. For a more complete set of instructions
see the readme that came with this, or view the instructions at
<http://www.scheinerman.net/nigel-readme.pdf>.

Tips:

* In the new game dialog, click on add and remove player to add more players to
a game. Clicking on a specific player will let you change their name or the player
type.

* For complete analysis of a game, when starting the game, tick the "Show Nigel's Racks,"
and "Include Analysis Tools" check boxes.

* To play a move, click on an empty space on the board. An arrow will appear. To change
the horizontal / vertical orientation of the arrow either click on it or press space.
Then simply type to place a move. To play a blank tile, either type the letter that tile
would represent or type an asterisk (*).

* As a play is being entered, the score of the currently typed word will be shown in the
bottom right. It will be green if it is a valid play, and red if not.

* To organize tiles on your rack, simply click and drag the tiles to move them around.
You can also alphabetize and shuffle the tiles by pressing the corresponding buttons.
Remove all typed tiles from the board by pressing the "Recall" button.

* To swap tiles click the "Swap" button. In the dialog, click on the tiles you want to
swap and then press "OK".

* To play a move click the "Play" button or type Control-Enter (Windows and Linux) or
Command-Enter (Mac).

* A history of moves is shown in the "Moves" tab on the right. Each line contains the
player who made the move, the coordinate of the first tile, the word, and the score.
Click on any move to see it highlighted with a red border on the board.
